Malian soldiers killed in jihadist attack

Two Malian soldiers have been killed in an attack blamed on jihadists. The attack was on the Niafunké post in central Mali on Sunday morning. Five of the militants were killed during the attack. The Malian army, which has been struggling to contain a jihadist insurgency, has been carrying out an operation to destroy jihadist bases.
